ABOUT

I can help you understand how thinking and behaviour influence your situation.  I work with you to develop new perspectives, thinking and behaviours that enable you to address specific problems, in a way that works more effectively for you.  We can also examine the effect of different systems - such as the family or work system - on your mood.  I am aware that people's experience of the world can be influenced by diversity characteristics such as gender, sexuality, race, religion etc..  As an ethical therapist, I offer a confidential, safe space for you to explore your feelings and be yourself in an empathic, non-judgemental environment.

What began as a search for answers relating to my own issues, reflecting on my lack of self-trust, lack of self-belief and the anxieties causing relentless, unhelpful behaviour cycles., lead to a revelatory journey of discovery and ignited a passion for supporting others to uncover their own answers and achieve their own goals.  My training in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Humanistic and Psychodynamic therapy allows for an integrative approach in addition to, a singular therapy approach.  Each individual is.......an individual and with this in mind, we can discuss how we'll work most effectively together.

Post-qualification, I continue my learning and development, to broaden knowledge and enrich my practice capability, continuously striving to provide the best therapeutic support possible.

I'm a registered member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (RMBACP), as well as, the National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society (MNCPS Acc.)

Therapy Sessions

We start with a free introductory 10-15 minute chat where you can outline your challenges, needs and/or goals.  This gives an opportunity to discuss the therapeutic approach and how you would like to proceed.

Online or telephone sessions are offered at £40.00

Face-to-face sessions (Sidcup) are offered at £55.00

All sessions are held for 50 minutes and typically include a review on work thus far, a check on how you're doing and how you are finding working with the model.

Therapy can last between 7-20 sessions and takes place weekly.  The length of therapy will depend on the nature of your problems and on your felt progress - this, we can monitor and discuss throughout, as needed.
